Just copy+paste the following code into a new bio, adding your character's relevant goodies. Remember, take out the text in italics, as that isn't part of the bio, it's information for you, the applicant. You are REQUIRED to read through Boot Camp before applying with any Gladiator, even if it's an already-approved character on SoE.
Additionally, the Weapon of Choice section and Physical Description section do NOT automatically give your Gladiator his chosen weapons/armor/equipment. All weapons/armor/equipment/ammo must be purchased from the Armory with your Wealth. Upon purchasing a weapon(s), armor, Shields, or what have you, then you may describe each in its respective sections. That means that if you must buy your Weapon of Choice before you describe it here in your bio. Same goes for armor.
If you did it right, you'll see this:
Player Name: Self-explanatory, innit? Please, do not make separate accounts for your characters, even if you have many different ones.
Contact Info: Do you prefer emails going to a certain email addy? Would you prefer to correspond only in private messages? If you have any such preference, put it here.
Character Name: Every character has to have a name. If you want to play a character with amnesia or similar memory problems, that's fine: your character may not know their own name, but the players involved, and especially the admins, need to.
Age: Keep in mind the general lifespan information for each race...playing a 300 year old Canid is as far-fetched as playing a 4-year-old elf.
Race: (include Clan and Breed for Canids) IMPORTANT! For Canids, you MUST include what Clan, and what breed...breeds are basically what species. For Necrid characters, please include what Race they were while alive. For half-breeds, please include what each half is. If you want to play a half-elf, tell us what the other half is.
Karma: Go read the Boot Camp threads for more on this.
Skill pts: This is how many skill points your character has, NOT what skills they have.
Wealth:
Honor:
Glory: See Boot Camp
Strength:
Stamina:
Dexterity:
Sanity:
Spirit:
Wisdom:
Hit Points (HP): These items are Attributes, see Boot Camp for more info about Attributes.
Physical Appearance: Be detailed: height, weight, muscle mass, scars, coloration, etc. Also describe the appearance of any armor they will be using or clothes they will be wearing.
Weapon of Choice: If your character is Arcane, include that here. Include whatever weapon your fighter uses most frequently and with the greatest skill. Please describe it as well. Are there runic symbols carved into it? Is it unusual in color or size? Does it enhance a certain spell? Be creative.
History/Background: Include any part of their background relevant to their coming to the Colosseum, as well as any family history, training, or field of expertise they had beforehand. We don't need a life story for Gladiators, though you can certainly write one if you feel so inclined.
Skills: See Boot Camp...I promise, this is the last one you have to read about in Boot.
Awards: This part of the bio is to be left blank when applying. If and when your character receives an award, even a posthumous one (posthumous means they won it after they died), it will be added here.
Prizes: Again, leave this blank. Any prizes your character wins will be added later by an admin or mod.
Record: This is your gladiator's win/loss/draw record, in G: W/L/D format, where G = gladiator level, W = win, L = Loss, and D = draw/tie. Again, leave this blank, an admin or mod will fill it in later.
Sample RP: IMPORTANT! The sample RP must be in the same style as IC posts in the main game of SoE. Do not write your sample in the style of Colosseum-IC. Also, your sample RP determines what, if any, bonuses will be awarded to your character at its creation. It is up to the mod/admin's discretion whether or not your char will be given any bonus skills, weapons, Wealth, or points.[/i]
ONE MORE THING: Exceptionally-well-written bios can be awarded prizes. Take your time to craft a quality bio. Prizes range from Reknown to weapons to skills, so be sure to make the best bio possible!
