Ok, so here's what I'm thinking.

We end this thread in the next post or two, with a "and they set off again" sort of vague closing, that will serve to tie-in the next thread.

The next one will have a lot of the "other side" of things- like, with the king or the lich, or hell, maybe even the bandits that Barax pwned.

Come to think of it... that might be a good way to get Deva involved. Maybe he was sent to assassinate the chief bandit, and Barax beat him to it, so he follows them? I dunno. But until Zorah gets approved and we get a few more characters, we may have to have all the existing chars in a single thread.

Ok- since Dancing Mad is wrapping up, let's plot out what the follow-up thread (which will include Deva if he's up for it ^_^) will entail.

And it doesn't have to be called Devil's Lab- I've just been playing a lot of FF6 lately, and it's a catchy tune. :-P

Oh- I should probably add that even though there are two Legend characters present so far, this thread isn't an Epic, so plotting isn't mandatory. It would still be a good idea though, so we can brainstorm ideas. :-D

I'm thinknig- there's a fight at the plantation, which is now a slave-running house or something. And after killing all the chattel drivers, THEN they discover that the guy they are after doesn't live there anymore.

Plantation fight - good. Slaves? Hmmm...I'm not really sure about that part, but if we don't come up with anything better, sure why not :-P

Plantation fight, the staff there finally got fed up with being treated like trash, the classic rebellion story. You guys get there and have to decide who to help, and rather to do the wrong thing for right reason, living with the guilt afterward. Or do the right thing and live with the consequences of your actions. And sometime during the chaos I'll come along and join in, unless you want to be trailed for a while afterward. Oh, and BTW, I'm gonna have Deva stop by Barrax parent's house, pretending he's a royal scout/messenger. And he's going to try and get info on their whereabouts from them.

Oh, also - Trippy, just in case you were thinking of it, don't take down the affi button of which the pic had been deleted. The site is still active and our button is till there, they're just having some minor trouble with Photobucket, poor guys.

I hadn't even noticed- they must have fixed it by now. :-P

So- our trio arrives in town at the start of a slave revolt- or did the slaves revolt already, and we get to town to find them rioting and looting.... or some third option I haven't thought of yet? :-P

I have an idea - the plantation was doing just fine when some villains came by and told the landlord "give it to us, sell us your workers as well, we'll make it look like it was an attack and you had nothing to do with it and give you money" and he sells out as the cunt that he is.

So now the workers are tortured all over the place, villains won't let them leave, they're making them work 24/7. People are getting fed up and a rebellion is about to happen. They decide than one of them should run away and inform the authorities of what happened.

By accident, N and B arrive soon after, making the workers think the King has sent them aid in the form of the Templar Knight and having them pick up their field tools and start the rioting. Battle ensues and all the lulz that go with it, especially Barax being all "feel the wrath of Voltron" and Deva being all bad-ass half-demon on the villains >:-)

And then they find out what really happen and face-palm. The workers go "ZOMG, we could've been killed! We're such idiots!" ( like people usually get after the adrenaline effect fades away :-P ) and our heroes make new plans and chase after the landlord cunt.

Lieks it, pplz?

Awesome, and after the fight, Deva, Barrax, and Nura strike a pose, lookin all cool.

Because the trio is a couple days away from the plantation, still. :-P
