Ok- so I'm thinking we should do something a bit more complex than the standard barfight opening scene to get Nura and Barax in the same room. So let's brainstorm. :-)

Not to mention that we already DID the bar-fight, so it'd be a bit boring to repeat it all over again :-P

Well, yeah, there's that too. So should we do a follow-up, or start a whole new unrelated "thing"?

I think a follow-up would be good. Too bad the old thread got deleted :-(

Yeah.
So- what are we gonna do?

I'm thinking - a short synopsis, up until the part where Barax takes Nura to see the King. And we roll from there >:-)
Also, I have an idea on how to include Fu into the story - what if, for a part of the roadtrip, Nura and Barax have to travel together? That is more probable than her running away from all those soldiers King always drags around :-P
And Fu...well, he can't attack them, he's not the type, but what if he's around when there's an attack on the convoy? And, maybe, afterwards, stick around to help the wounded? I know, it's crappy, but it's the best I can do at 6 AM :-P

Er...
I'm not sure I follow you. Synopsis of what- nothing's happened yet. 0.o
And I like the traveling together bit- that's kinda what I was going for, I guess I just didn't explain myself very well. :-P
Or- Nura and Barax find whoever it is they'/re looking for, and that person decides to make a run for it into the forest. Now Barax has to give chase, in an environment poorly suited to Templar suits, and in doing so risks an encounter with Fu AND with other Vayans. :-D

Well, you said that Nura would try to run away :-P
I like your idea better :-)
The synopsis of the old thread, with the bar-fight and all :-P

I guess a brief synopsis would be ok. Who's gonna start it?

Irrelevant. You wanna do it?

Well I really dunno what about the last thread you want to synopsis-ize, synopsize, synop- do. So I'll follow your lead.

Posted. I tried to post just from Barax's POV- so whatever Nura and the King discuss he wouldn't know about.
Lemme know what you think. ^_^

Good post, thought I'd prefer if the King joined the party, too...played by you, of course. It'd give the story a kind of a dramatic flair :-)

Maybe some "meanwhile, in TEH KING'S EVIL LAIR!" flashbacks- but in terms of plot, the King has more important things to do than waltz about in a non-Epic thread. :-P
Though it does seem like the king wouldn't send a prized new acquisition out for no reason.
How 'bout this- the King makes Nura an offer? Something like, "Go to Failewyn and learn healing magics, then I'll help you get your revenge" or something to that effect. That way, he's not just letting her go running off- he's giving her marching orders, as it were.
