Effect: The user undergoes a transformation so to speak, they become someone or something else. Depending on the skill of the user, the effect may be different, so while a novice may just look different, while still being exactly the same, an expert might undergo a full body transformation.

Modus Operandi: Once the user has a clear mental picture, all they must do is focus their energies, then the transformation takes place. Muddled thoughts or being distracted can cause the transformation to be incomplete or short in duration- clarity of mind is a must to effectively perform it.

Difficulty: It's a fairly simple spell to learn, although the actual intricacies of focusing the transformation energy takes some getting used to.

Effect: Within moments of casting, the user's body dissolves into countless tiny, insectoid creatures, each capable of moving and acting independently. The size and number of the symbiotic forms depends on the user's level of concentration, as well as their physical mass. A user cannot have more mass after casting than they did before casting the spell.

Modus Operandi: The user must allow their thoughts to scatter, becoming a buzzing nexus of indecipherable ideas. Once this is accomplished, the user must consciously direct each disparate thought onto a single command- such as "climb" or "run". Each thought then separates itself into a portion of the physical body, and this new symbiotic entity seeks to obey the command given just prior to dissolution.

Difficulty: Only experienced shape-shifting mages can attempt it with minimal negative impacts. Performing this spell poorly may lead to becoming unable to re-form when the spell wears off, or forgetting how to eat, bathe, sleep, or even breathe.

Effect: Counterpoint to Dissolution, Recombine allows the user to once more take on a single, solid form. This process is not immediate, and so needs a secure location in which to affect reassembly.

Modus Operandi: Each of the dissolute symbiotes must focus on joining together into a coherent form. Once this is achieved, they will naturally gravitate towards each other to reform the original host form.

Difficulty: It takes great strength of will to focus the disparate minds of a swarm into a single goal- but once that is achieved, the spell resolves itself without further input from the caster. Meaning- the spell itself it quite simple, but the process required to enable it is difficult.

Effect: The forces of Nature are kind to some- wounds heal faster, illnesses fade faster. Small children, certain animals, and all manner of plants seem to just flourish when basking in the aura of those who are chosen.

Modus Operandi: Elvish bloodlines tend to have one or two amongst them that have been thusly blessed. It is second nature to those who have it, they are seldom even aware of the effects they have. For those who are not blessed, the effects can be artificially invoked by inhaling the smoke of the Hatherbloom flower- which grows within Bishal- and chanting "anima exempla".

Difficulty: It is difficult to obtain the necessary flower, for those who are not born with the talent. For those who are, it is impossible not to use it.

Effect: The user channels flames from their body in varying degrees if intensity. It has a wide range of uses, from combat, to simply keeping warm, or lighting a dark area.

Modus Operandi: The user simply says Cacophony of Flame, while thinking how they want to use the spell. For example, if one were to say Cacophony of Flame, while thinking of shooting a fire ball, an orb of flame resembling a miniature sun would shoot from their hand. The intensity of the flame's heat is tied to how strong the user's desire is when casting the spell.

Difficulty: The spell itself is fairly simple to learn, yet complete mastery is difficult, since one is always discovering new ways to use the spell, and each new use requires training. Though the concept is simple enough to grasp,l it requires practice and patience to utilize properly, and without inadvertently causing injury.

Cost: 5 SPI
Additonal Effects: Deals Fire-element damage.

Effect: Upon casting the spell, the user channels their own internal energies, and converts it to pure electricity inside their own body. Once the lightning is created, the user must become an outlet for it to be released into the world. Once it is released, it goes along the path it was guided, it can no longer be controlled.

Modus Operandi: Simply point your arm straight out, with your index and middle finger pointed, while keeping your ring and pinky folded against the palm of your hand.

Difficulty: This spell requires complete mental focus and clarity, otherwise the energy could build up improperly and explode in the face of the user upon release. A master of the technique can cause the lightning to arc to multiple target once the 1st is hit, they can even call lightning down from the skies, drastically increasing the power of the spell.

Cost: 5 SPI

Additional Effects: Deals Lightning-element damage.
