The Armory is available for use by Gladiators and Pit Fighters only, it is not for use in the main game. Every item in the Armory has an (I)MR rating: MR for melee weapons, shields, and armor, IMR for ammunition. Ranged weaponry itself has no MR, and is not susceptible to breaking.
In order to make a purchase from the Armory, you have to spend Wealth. So that I can be assured nobody is fudging the numbers, or forgetting to carry the 1, it is required that all purchases be made as new threads here in the Armory. Your purchase thread should look like this:
It'll look lie this:
Character Name:
Current Wealth:
Desired item:
Wealth spent:
Upon making this thread, a mod or admin will reply to it with either:
if it is an acceptable purchase, or
if it is not.
Remember, you can spend more wealth than an item costs to purchase it. The extra will be considered a 'tip', and may earn you Karma or other goodies. Also, though Wealth is the standard form of payment, bartering is acceptable as well. Meaning, you can trade in old items, potions, or Renown to help you purchase a new item. In every transaction, some Wealth must be spent, though, so barter-only purchases will not be allowed.
If you would like to add to the Armory, please use the following template. As with other contribution boards, copy+paste the code provided, deleting any italicized words:
It'll look something like this when you're done.
Player Name:
Character Name: Remember, you do not have to have a character in order to contribute.
Item Name: What is it called?
Item Class: Ammunition, Specialty Ammunition, Armor, Shield, 1-Handed Melee, 2-Handed Melee, Ranged
(I)MR: IMR only applies for ammo. MR applies for all melee weapons, shields and armor. Ranged weapons have 0 MR.
Price: How much the item ought to be for purchase.
Sell Price: How much Wealth the character will receive for selling the item back to the Armory.
Description: What it looks like...duh.
Enhancements/bonuses: Any special properties the item has.
As always, be as detailed as you like, and admins/mods reserve the right to alter the wording to make it fit better with the balance of the game. Credit will be given to the original contributor.
If an item is not acceptable, an admin/mod will discuss any changes that need to be made in order for it to be accepted.
